About Help Me Quit

Help Me Quit is the national NHS stop smoking brand for Wales, providing free, evidence-based support to help individuals quit smoking for good. Since its launch in 2017, Help Me Quit has empowered thousands of people to take control of their health and embrace a smoke-free future.

Our mission is simple: Give the maximum number of smokers in Wales the best chance to quit.

We also aim to make a meaningful contribution towards Welsh Government’s vision to create a smoke-free Wales by 2030.

Who we are

Help Me Quit connects all NHS stop smoking services in Wales under one roof, making it easier to access support. Our services are delivered across Wales by Public Health Wales and each of the seven local health boards:

  • Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

  • Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Boards

  • Cardiff & Vale University Health Board

  • Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board

  • Hywel Dda University Health Board

  • Powys Teaching Health Board

  • Swansea Bay University Health Board

Our services are delivered in a variety of settings including community venues, hospitals, community pharmacies and remotely via telephone.
